Schaeffler is an international automotive and mechanical engineering supplier headquartered in Herzogenaurach. Respecting the wishes and needs of the employees, we created a concept for the factory of the future with Schaeffler DNA and international appeal. The result was a book of room modules, each combining functionality with style and addressing the individual needs of the facilities on different continents. From the coffee kitchen/shop floor combination to the relaxation room - each plant can choose the modules that best suit its individual needs from the module book. Naturally in the latest Schaeffler design.

Implementation and challenge

How do you find out what everyone wants? By asking everyone! We formed an interdisciplinary project team with colleagues from Schaeffler, with skills ranging from engineering to education. We managed to overcome language barriers and conducted interviews and surveys worldwide. The results were evaluated using scientific methods and the solutions were visualised by our interior designers.
