Dürr Technik belongs to the DÜRR group with subsidiaries and partners worldwide. Headquartered in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Dürr Technik has been involved in compressor and pump technology for over 50 years. Both the production and logistics areas have reached their maximum capacity, so an extension was to be planned and implemented together with MPS ARCHONIC.

Implementation and challenge

The factory was planned by MPS ARCHONIC in several construction phases on the basis of material flow analyses and future space growth. Existing production facilities were incorporated in the reorganisation. The team planned the machine layout and designed the work environment together with DÜRR Technik employees. An attractive building envelope was then designed to accommodate the functions.

A new production hall at the site in Bietigheim-Bissingen with optimised material flows and an intuitive and ergonomic work environment for the employees.
