Background and objectives
Refurbishment of three buildings and implementation of new working environments. The company aims to link departments at the site more closely and optimise communication. In addition, the premises are to be designed with a modern atmosphere that allows employees to feel confident and comfortable.
Implementation
and Challenges
1. Analysis:
An online-based workplace activity analysis was conducted to define the space program required to support the organization's specific ways of working. Based on the findings, suitable room types and space modules were developed.
2. Change Management:
A tailored communication strategy ensured that all employees were continuously informed about and involved in the project. In addition, managers were prepared for the upcoming changes and the new ways of working introduced through the New Work approach.
3. Concept:
The space program developed during the analysis phase was implemented across three buildings. A key focus was the integration of collaborative spaces while also providing a variety of retreat areas to accommodate different work needs.
4. Interior Design:
The company's strong identification with its corporate color is reflected throughout the interior. Combined with natural wood, the orange accents add warmth to the otherwise calm and understated design palette.
The result
A new work environment that brings people together and is adaptable to different working styles and perspectives. Breakout spaces that people can escape to are popular and have a positive impact on employee satisfaction and performance.
