Background and Objectives
Jowat HQ in Germany has 100 years history on making/developing adhesive products and has 7 plants in Europe, Asia, USA, and Australia.
Jowat China Adhesives co, Ltd. is in Pinghu, Zhejiang province, it’s the first plant invested in Chinese market. The annual production capacity would be 9000t in this factory.
Project construction was divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 area: 13000 Square meters including a 4-stories workshop, warehouse, Research office and utility buildings.
Site construction period is about 14 months which started from November 2023 to February, 2024 and MPS Archonic team provided full consultant service from design management to government authority approval, GC /Jianli tendering and site construction management.
Implementation and challenge
In 3rd party drawing audit phase, as a chemical related project, MPS ARCHONIC took the lead in shorten audit duration and resolving issues from get audit platform detail requirements and coordinate chemical LDI to upload desiners’ certificates for register on audit platform, get audit comments from 3rd party at first time and chase LDI reply asap. Help clients to get nearest 10KV power connection route from the power bureau existing in a high-voltage cabinet. Suggestion for CA equipment. These interventions assisted the client in time/cost savings and ultimately enabled the successful completion of the new plant construction.
